The Northern Xinjiang is very much different from the south, at least 10-15 degree celsius. The landscape changed drastically as we went further north and up the mountains. The 2 well known scenic places are Hemu Village and Kanas Lake. Unfortunately, the bad weather obscured wonderful views and almost got us trapped in the mountain.
Going through the bazaars of Xinjiang, there were many photo opportunities. Such friendly people. Some would gladly pose for your camera.
