Iran

On the second part of the trip, we continued visiting ancient sites such as Narwin Castle and Tower of Silence. Also religious sites like the Vank Cathedral and Shah Mosque. Each as breath taking as the next.

For the first part of the trip, I was most impressed with the Nasir ol Molk Mosque (aka The Pink Mosque) and the Holy Shrine inside Ali Ibn Hamza. Both Mosques looked plain from the outside, but the interiors were mind blowing.

In my previous post, I mentioned the people of Iran were friendly. Most of them would oblige to have their picture taken or even gladly pose for the camera. The images here were random strangers except for the driver and tour guide.
